Humanity at the Threshold of a New Era
Throughout its history, humanity has developed through successive changes of eras, worldviews, and forms of social organization. Each new stage of development has been accompanied by a transformation in the way human beings understand themselves and their place in the Universe.
Today, we once again stand at the threshold of such a transition.

For the first time in history, local contradictions can have global consequences.
The world has become technologically interconnected, but humanity has not yet become internally united.
This contradiction is becoming one of the defining challenges of the 21st century.
Artificial Intelligence as a Mirror of Humanity
The emergence of artificial intelligence confronts civilization with a new question:
What goals, values, and visions of the future will be embedded in the new intelligent systems?
Artificial intelligence will inevitably reflect, to a significant degree, the state of consciousness of the humanity that creates and deploys it.
If humanity remains divided, conflict-driven, and without a shared understanding of its future, new technologies may amplify these contradictions.
The problem of AI alignment therefore leads inevitably to a deeper question:
Can humanity itself achieve a higher level of alignment and a deeper understanding of its shared destiny?
The Need for a New Methodology
The modern era requires not only new technologies, but also a new understanding of the human being.
We need a methodology capable of viewing the human being not as a finished entity, but as a participant in an ongoing process of inner development.
Such an approach assumes that human evolution continues today, but that its central direction is no longer primarily biological change — it is the development of consciousness.
The development of consciousness may become the factor that enables humanity to:
- overcome destructive forms of division;
- cultivate a culture of cooperation;
- create a more harmonious relationship between human beings and technology;
- develop a shared vision of the future of civilization.
Why Now?
Because, for the first time in history, several factors are converging simultaneously:
- Humanity has become a single interconnected technological system.
- Artificial intelligence is beginning to participate in shaping the future.
- Established worldview models are undergoing a profound crisis.
- A new level of global cooperation is becoming necessary.
- The question of human nature and the direction of our further development is becoming a practical necessity.
We are entering an era in which further progress will be determined not only by what human beings are capable of creating, but also by what they are capable of becoming.
A New Stage of Human Development
Humanity is gradually moving toward an understanding of itself as a single planetary community.
This process does not eliminate cultural or civilizational diversity. Rather, it implies the emergence of a higher level of self-awareness in which Earth is understood as our shared home and humanity as an interconnected whole.
In this context, the development of consciousness is no longer merely a private philosophical question.
It becomes one of the key conditions for the further evolution of civilization.
This is why the question of humanity’s future must be asked today.
Because the technologies of the future are already being created.
And because the level of consciousness of the people creating them today will profoundly influence the world in which future generations will live.
